Liked this play when the line came out at +4.5, but waited to get more line value and it's now +6.5. If I were a tout, this would be my MNF GOY.
KC's back is against the proverbial wall. The Ravens do not have an explosive offense to say the least. Without Todd Heap and a go-to WR, the Ravens pretty much have to run the ball with Jamal Lewis and hope Kyle Boller doesn't turn it over (he will).
The Ravens seem to have their defense really going well. However, they have played 2 rookie QB's (Palmer-1st year starter with the Bengals and Roethlisberger - Steelers Rookie). Tonight they play Trent Green, who is a veteran guy. Vermeil and OC Al Saunders will run some trickery tonight and I'm sure will get the ball to Holmes both running and receiving.
Vermeil is a respectable 9-6 ATS as a Road Dog with Kansas City.
KC knows this is do-or-die. With a win here, they still have a chance and have a bye week the next week to get some things right. I love the line value here and see a FG game either way.
